Edited 4 years agoOne of the best recent metal releases, partly because it is dark enough to intrigue, accessible enough to approach, enjoyable enough to replay. Special mention must be made of the excellent guitaring throughout, especially on the hit track "Melancholia" which has one of the best riffs in contemporary rock. I would even go so far as to claim that Tribulation are creating the next wave of gothicism with this high quality record; this is especially apparent in their cover of The Cure's "One Hundred Years" (only on the box set edition). A decent recording and pressing; my copy sounds excellent with sweetly open treble and a big soundstage. -
