any who fan re or knows that this was the ultimate sound track to the ultimate who film of the same title in 1979, i actually bought this 2 lp set before i saw the movie that year, well this review is of the soundtrack but if you have not SEE THE DAMN MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is better then tommy and as good as quadophenia, anyway side one kicks off with the classic live my generation from 1967 on the smothers brothers show in nyc and it all just gets better from there, great live songs from various shows in the 60s and 70s and just an all around awesome compilation for a killer movie about the who, the world wide release came the same regarding a small photo booklet and a few other nice photos inside of the 2 lp set, the us version is the same as the worldwide version and i have this 2 lp set from the us, japan and europe it is all the same,
