I just confirm that it's an amazing pressing. Maybe too much hights sometimes, specially on the first song but it's an home run.

Highly recommend the 2024 Chris bellman version to this. More bass clearer highs, less IGD, which this album has alot of. I have both copies to compare.

I bought re-issues of this, killers, powerslave and number of the beast all at the same time. This is by far the best mastering and pressing. Shame it’s packaged so cheaply, Not even an insert on this one.

Edited one year agoi can't imagine that the original pressing sounds much better than this. fantastic mix, dead silent pressing, lots of dynamic. highly recommended!

Amazing Re-Issue, this sounds better than my original Holland Pressing from 1980.
Purchased this and the Killers Re-Release.
The Killers re-release blows, dull, dead, dark, no life, too bad, I was kinda' shocked how it could sound so bad compared to this. -
Edited 2 years agoAbsolutely outstanding pressing. Maybe the best of the reissues. Huge sound, clear instruments and voice, very dynamic. It's the best sounding Iron Maiden vinyl I own (it may even be one of the very best sounding vinyl's I own, full stop), even if it is infamously the one with the "worst" production. I certainly does not seem so. Raw to the bone, and I love it.

I used to own a '85 UK pressing years ago and it sounds fantastic. But I just bought this 2014 pressing and I was really surprised how good it is! Despite not having the POTO extended version (I really like that scary Di'anno’s voice at the end haha), this pressing sounds really great!

Before I owned this pressing, I always loved the album but thought it sounded a bit thin. But this pressing brings some added weight to the mix. While it's not exactly the best recording, the remastering brings out the best part of the album, the performance. It's an excellent album with timeless songs. Would definitely recommend.
