    Bought this record back because of teenage memories, and mainly for the artwork. Didn't expect much soundwise, pretty much hate Capitol mastering jobs on Beatles - But was pleasentely surprised, it actually sounds pretty good ! Vox in the middle, and the song pacing is great ! Doesn't have that super harsh capitol treatment :-)

      Still own this until the other day when I gave it to my daughter who is a huge Beatles fan now. Its a cool momento of a time when 50's rck and roll was coming back. I recall Sha Na Na on the tv every week. Back then a song from 1969 was an Oldie but goodie..LOL. Then again- in the 70s- years seemed much longer. I think it sounds really good and better than the 2012 versions..because it is not safe sounding. Great collection.

        Sound quality is not like the 2012/2014 reissues, but actually not bad overall. Found a VG+ copy and I was expecting it to be sound quality to be pretty bad, but I was pleasantly surprised and I enjoyed the track order as well.
