This is one of the strangest musical meldings I have heard, ever, and certainly in a very long time. It blends black metal with choral arrangements that echo Scandanavian folk music, but also classical choral music. But somehow it works. If you're looking for something different, then try it. It's clearly inspired by symphonic metal, but it's not that, either. (As it happens, I was led to Myrkur through her appearance on Epica (2) - The Alchemy Project.)

As for the pressing, it's very good. Being 45rpm, it has fantastic detail and high-end extension, which is really good for her voice. It's also very quiet, despite the fact that my copy has quite a few hairlines (from the sleeve, I'd suppose).
