Rainbo Records - S-62220 & 62221 can be entered in the catalogue number field adjacent to the Pressed By field used for the 'Rainbo Records' credit. Because each side of a record will often be assigned a unique identifier, each sequence should be added into a separate dedicated field. Additional identifier for Lps, in conjunction with "S-" numbers, is Rainbo's 1.25" pressing ring.

Edited 4 months agoLet’s all pump the brakes on the praise for this pressing. This is an all-time great album. The fidelity of this particular pressing is decent, I agree. But this album can sound better. This is what happens when an album is well recorded, mastered, and mixed. Pressing quality and packaging here is below average. I’d be interested to hear this as a UHQR release.

Edited 4 months agoThis is definitely one of the best sounding records I own. I have not heard any other pressings, however. I know Rainbo gets a bad rap, but this is good quality. It is quiet. No complaints!
Edit: Pressing is not completely quiet. -
Excellent pressing here, if you don't want to drop huge coin on an original, this is about the best you can get. Clarity throughout, no surprise pops, dead quiet. In my opinion simply their best album! You won't be disappointed with this pressing and some of their best tunes! "Halo" can not be played just once, so good!!!

This is a stunning pressing. Dave's vocals are up front, but with just enough clarity to sound fabulous without being harsh. The soundstage is WIDE and I love the detail and channel separation. There are synth parts I've never heard before. This is one of the very few records in my collection where the sound of the record is worthy of the music. A truly fantastic presentation.

A pale comparison to the OP. IF you gotta have a clean copy?... and can't find anything else. I guess?
But it sounds dead when A/B'd with the OP. -

So this is a first. The jacket & label both are for Violator BUT the record itself is Music For The Masses. Has anyone else had an experience like this?!
