The hype is warranted with this pressing - Joga is represented flawlessly, with the strings boasting incredible clarity and presence (alongside a thunderous bassline from Howie B). I don't have any other copies to compare it to, but it's really a marvelous experience. Would be curious to give the DMM a try.

Amazing pressing of a gem of an album, definitely among Bjork’s best, and this test pressing sounds fire!
-
This isn’t really a test pressing but a promo. They just used the test pressing label as the label instead of the standard label.

The sound here probably beats most modern pressings, Id be very curious how it does against a NilZ cut.

This record was given out as a promo, sent out to specialty RPM DJ's on college radio. There was a push to get this released on vinyl and Elektra did not want to bother so a compromise was made and these were created, I recall that this was very limited run, somewhere around 300 copies, and to this day the only USA pressing of this record. If I ever find the old press release I will that info. What stood out to me way back then was Puto sounded much better on this pressing than the CD released at the same time.
