Edited 7 months agoOne of the first releases by this band that I purchased on vinyl. Since then their music never let me go.
Despite the simple structure of tracks listens atmospherically, together with old photos of my city and understanding the concept of the whole work of the band gives a tremendous effect.
I liked this album so much that I decided to get another copy. -
-
Mine copy's ultra silent, superbly sounding. I'm very lucky in this case! 5 stars with no hasitation.
-
Sounds fantastic. No surface noise to speak of here. I cleaned it before playing as always. Bought new from the record shop so chances are if you’re finding this in the new stock these days, it will be the proper “fixed” disc.
As a fairly new fan and having gotten MHTRTC, Geogaddi, The Campfire Headphase and Tomorrow’s Harvest, this is absolutely phenomenal and I’ll keep grabbing every “new to me” BoC title I find. These guys had it from the start. Still want A Beautiful Place…Peel Sessions…Trans Canada for sure. -

So was this remastered over the 2002 version? I still haven’t opened my 2014 yet, I always play my 2002. Feels like it needs a remaster.
-
Mine is from 2014 I believe (bought it 2 years ago) and still sounds like ass. So much surface noise it's unbearable.
-
Just got my hands on this fixed repress after complaining to Amazon about receiving the old dirty repress, has anyone else noticed the Side A/Side B stickers are backwards or was I just the lucky one, lol.
-
Sounds great, little to no surface noise (although I have one pop in Basefree, but that's it). Bought it directly from Bleep and has the same matrix number as this one, so I think they all come with the proper recut now.
