I am trying to take out stuff that has been sitting "in waiting" for some time. This is the s@$? Zero noise, perfect.

Holy crap, this pressing rocks! I've had this album on various formats since it came out, but have never heard it sound this good. This kicks the shit out of my other vinyl copy, which is a 2021 repress of the 2003 remaster

Edited 2 years agojust got a copy of this specific pressing. even though neither matrix has the Masterdisk stamp in it, the sound of this pressing is fantastic and nearly identical when compared to my old, worn, but well loved RL Masterdisk copy (which has a couple jumps/skips hence the purchase of this specific copy [its affordable and its not from a digital source]). i think that is a testament to how well recorded and mixed this LP actually is. i mean, the 2 or 3 different CD versions ive had over the years all sounded pretty much exactly the same whether they were "remastered" or not.
fantastic pressing of an incredible LP. highest recommendation for analog purists on a budget, like me. -
Edited one year agoAlthough there is no MASTERDISK RL written on the matrix, this US pressing rocks! My recommendations!
