Essential collection for Jackie McLean fans, one all-star lineup after another with Jackie at his absolute peak. The only negative is missing out on the fabulous cover art of the original issues, though of course Mosaic boxes are beautiful in their own right. More casual fans can take advantage of the recent excellent reissues of Action (personal favorite) and It's Time which look and sound great.
