It is interesting how Mike has shifted the market all by himself (I would definitely say not on purpose). It does look like the AA pressings have come down in price a little bit as well as MFSL. Not sure about the other pressings he mentioned in that video such as the Japanese one.

I would agree with Indiescarlet, AA doesn't sound bad and to be honest, there really isn't that much of a difference between most of them. Perhaps there's a slight difference between AB and AA on some 6 figure audiophile systems that most will never own but 9 times out of 10, you're not going to notice most differences unless they're straight up remasters like MFSL.

AA still sounds great! There's nothing wrong with it! This has been an audiophile album for decades and that's not just because of AB. There's nothing wrong with the later MCA represses too. I listened to the copies I had on hand and there was no audible difference except for the MFSL which was starkly different (because it was mastered differently).

My copy is the AAB version which uses the same metal work as the original AB and sounds excellent.

Got this pressing recently and it looks spotless. Sounds awful. My Terre Haute Pressing is somewhat beat after my 40+ years of playing it, but it sounds amazing

This one really doesn't sound that great. Everything is a bit muddy and distorted, through and through an AB-1006 pressing sounds incredible but this one just sounds flawed. I own it and can confirm it's best to skip the AA-1006s and get an original AB.

If there is interest... how does SRC fit here as presser?

Sound on this pressing is fantastic. And comparing to the MFSL 1-033 version, I sure can't hear a $60 difference in quality (at least on my decent setup). Separation is probably a shade better, but clarity, dynamics and overall soundstage is great for the few bucks payed.
