Easy listening krautrock. Shows that Klaus Dinger was indispensable as the other half of Neu to give it that much-needed edginess.

Listen to the third song on side A - "Stromlinien" - and you will hear the Portishead did a rip off with their single THE RIP (on their third album).

"Sonnenrad" is one of the best instrumental compositions ever! It's so calming and uplifting at the same time, and moves with an insistent but measured pace, it really is a wonder to hear. Moreover, it was an inspiration for Ultravox's great hit "Dancing with tears in my eyes", which only gives it a double weight of greatness. The rest of the album is nothing to sneeze at, but "Sonnenrad" is on the whole other level altogether.
