Raw and lively "lo-fi" sound, with deep bass and aggressive guitars. Pressing is quite good: not much surface noise, flat vinyl, but a bit of sibilance on some tracks.

Agree with all the comments, quiet, flat, well pressed, great sound. And the color palette is beautiful. Great overall pressing! 👍And the best thing, I scored it for $25 used and in EX condition! 😁

I have a TMR 2013 sealed copy, the barcode is a sticker outside of shrink on back cover, does that mean I have the white and red vinyl pressing? The black pressing has the barcode printed on cover I believe and not a sticker on shrink.
If anybody knows please let me know.
Thank you. -
Surprisingly great pressing considering it was pressed at United. Their GBMS pressing 2 years later is trash.
My copy is quiet however I feel it could be a bit more dynamic in parts, particularly on Black Math. Overall it still sounds great. Black/Red split looks fantastic so I would say its worth the price for that alone. -
Not a huge White Stripes fan… But, I scored this on EBay for $15 a couple of months ago. I finally gave the album a listen. WOW. The records look so good on the turntable. The record is dead quiet. No complaints! Excellent pressing, since it was done with love at Third Man.

Fantastic pressing and packaging! I prefer colored vinyl if there's an option, some prefer black vinyl. As far as the undisclosed amount pressed- I mean, over 4000 people have this cataloged in their collections here, so they pressed a lot! Amazing album, packaging, and it looks and sounds fantastic on colored vinyl!

This pressings sounds great. Extremely dynamic. There is definitely sibilance present on most of the tracks. But, that’s the vintage sound Jack White was going for.

I’m really surprised these are selling for so much money. I own the original pressing & can’t imagine it sounding better. If there is anyone out there who own this & the original, could you please write your impression of the sound quality differences here? I’d be appreciative. (I don’t much care about the cosmetics of releases).
-
Sounds awesome with the exception of You've Got Her In Your Pocket. Anyone else experience sibilance on this track?

I have a very good copy for sale, only played a couple of times when first purchased in 2013, very well looked after, message for more details
