While I personally wouldn’t go so far as to say “RL killer” I definitely agree this has a more natural sound with less bass, but not muffled at all. This is a great sounding and much cheaper option than chasing even a VG Hot Mix.

Run-outs on a copy that I've just picked up are A - 588198A21(backwards)2(backwards)35 B - 588198B21(backwards)8(possibly!)4.
Is that this version? -
A//5 B//5 is the RL destroyer. When I got one, I immediately liked it better than the clean RL I had in my collection for years (key word: had). I did transfers of both and looked at the waveform and spectrogram, and the UK issue has more of everything. Sounds more natural IMO as well.

Despite my hate towards digitally sourced pressings, I can agree with coment below.
Been searching A2B2 pressing hoping for amaging sounding copy.. Well, it was just alright, nothing extraordinary.
2014 remaster is indeed much clearer vocals and much cheaper too ! -
My copy of this pressing sounds very good, with plenty of low end punch. However I do favour the new remaster for its clarity around the vocals, where this copy can be a bit muddied.
