Something I have never encountered before with any shop purchased CD which is worth sharing, I attempted to remove a blemish from the CD label side and found to my astonishment that my CD has not been screen printed but some type of transfer has been applied which started to break up and detach.

This is the only Pink Floyd cd pressing that I have ever come across that I think was mastered badly. The EQ and dynamics and all that are fine, but someone went to town with the noise reduction to such an extent that you hear it very obviously even in an open room at low volume. The decay of the drums and cymbals is almost immediate, and it's kind of jarring. Set the Controls for The Heart of The Sun sounds really odd without the toms ringing out.
