Edited 20 days agoApart from the fact this album is mental and amazingly experimental in every way possible, not horribly noisy when I got this second-hand.
However on my copy at least Human Cannonball has a significant amount of inner groove distortion on everything apart from the drums really, a lot of side 2 also suffers from overly-crispy vocals and guitars that are not present on the digital versions.
The mastering itself has no issues, sounds full and dynamic - with the IGD not sure if it was direct metal mastered, since it came in a plain paper inner and not a DMM one, although the labels have the red text.
