Even so early on into their t careers, the duo Shankar Jaikishan come up with a brilliant soundtrack, full of diversity and stunning instrumentation. The young voices of Mukesh and Lata Mangeshkar ring throughout. It certainly hasn't aged well in small spots, which is understandable for a soundtrack that is 70 years old. But nitpicky points aside, this is a wonderful soundtrack and probably a shining example of quality filmi music from the early 1950s.
