The album is amazing, and the names totally embody the sound: pulsating 303s, analog pulses, rhythms and modulations and swells and waves and crests and buttes, and beauteous melodies that are warm and soothing, but spiced with just enough minor chords and mild, technological sounding dissonance and bleeps to keep the listener on their toes. The combination of that heightening of senses with a soothing main theme and back-beat marks ... the very very best of much of music. -
Edited 12 years agoRe-discovering this after a long period. I have this on cassette, unfortunately now sans cover, purchased from Ambient Soho when it was located on Berwick St, just across from the Music & Video Exchange. Ambient Soho has long since gone but glad to re-acquaint myself with this soothing album of electronica once more via the generous free provided by the artist. Thanks Mr. Rees!

This classic deserves a review. If you have not heard it yet, you have missed out on a timeless piece of ambient electronica. A rare beautiful gem.
