Notes
Deluxe double LP version on 180 gram black vinyl. Features the bonus tracks from the US deluxe CD.
Glossy gatefold, tip-on jacket with printed inner sleeves featuring lyrics, song-by-song commentary from the band, credits and thank-yous.
According to Karl Koch's "Karl's Corner" blog: "[T]he mastering [was] done by Kevin Gray at AcousTech Mastering. The vinyl pressing was done at the legendary RTI facility[.] The album cover and inner sleeves printing were made at Stoughton Printing, and the center labels were printed by G&M Graphics." These credits aren't present on the release except for the mastering and pressing etchings on the vinyl runouts. Koch had also informed that the release is "limited to a little over 2000 copies"
This set was reportedly created by the band after their disappointment with the original red LP release, which had been sourced from CD masters. This led them to seek out permission to produce a new edition with proper treatment for the format. It was manufactured as early as August 2008 but wasn't released until next year, sold through select independent retailers.

Amazing pressing. And 5 stars just for the 4 bonus tracks alone. Those four songs should’ve been on the album and this would rank up there with some of their best work. Oh well, at least we got them on vinyl.
-
This is absolutely one of the best pressings I’ve heard of a Weezer album—period. The dynamics are out of this world good! The bass and drums are so incredibly punchy and the guitars truly scream. The vocals are mixed in perfectly, as well. I just can’t say enough about how good this pressing sounds—light years better than the CD-sourced OG.
Kevin Gray cut the lacquers and this was pressed at RTI with a full heavy Stoughton gatefold jacket. Apparently only about 2000 were pressed, so grab one if you can! The extra songs really give this album more heft and credence rather than ending on the vocal juggling songs. Overall, one of my best-sounding records! -
This really does sound awesome, and having the deluxe tracks make it a must-own. I picked this up at one of their shows in 2019, and sadly the bottom part of the jacket was ripped up pretty bad, but everything else was fine.

This is still available on their website. Watch out for the shipping though as there is only one option and it isn’t cheap!

This is still available on Weezer’s webstore for $20. Just bought mine. Don’t pay the exorbitant resale prices.
-
This really does sound amazing. Highly recommend it over the average standard release. Not only do you get the full album, but it sounds way better and the pressing quality is substantially higher. Got mine for $20 on the Weezer store recently - I believe they get them in stock intermittently
-
If anyone is looking for a copy, the Weezer webstore has them available for $20. Better get on it fast.
Last time I checked there was ~35 copies available still. -
