    Does anyone have a Canadian third pressing? On the label it says EMI not the Gramophone Company. It's the only version I've seen with that label. And I don't see it on Discogs. Thanks.

      Does anyone else have this original Cdn pressing version with the interior of the US printed gatefold assembled upside down?

        Better than the 2016 pressing. Better dynamics and better bass. Minimal noise and boosted high end on the 2016 release fools some into thinking it is a better recording but the original 79 releases are the best.

          One of the greatest rock albums ever made. Really defines what rock music could be, and maybe it's never reached this height since. It's hard to separate my nostalgic feelings for this album, listening back in high school with friends in the basement, maybe not being totally "sober" of mind, and being able to travel places with the music. Each and every word speaking to me and speaking to all of us. Even now decades later and with my mind-altering days long behind me, this album alone has its own power that doesn't require any substances. It gets into your ears and into your mind the old fashioned way and it's a 40 minute trip. Pink Floyd were truly at their best when they were truly four artists collaborating (along with the great Alan Parsons, who plays no small part here as engineer).

            Minimal background noise on a NM copy. I have the 2016 reissue and this Canadian pressing is nothing compared to it. Its an entirely new album. It sounds incredible!
