Really odd. I bought this album new in the UK in 1984, in HMV, possibly Virgin late August of that year It has the original UK sleeve, The Smiths printed in grey and Rough 61 on the spine. The record appears to be this promo copy. It was and still is housed in a clear poly inner sleeve. Theres no Z as Fyingnun mentions though.

The matrix runout on my NZ copy reads :

I'm uncertain if the existing listing with a 'Z' is a typo.
