European vinyl for the Italian market.
"Disco Campione Non Vendibile" on label (Promotional copy not for sale), housed inside of a promo provisional "Anteprima Special" holed sleeve.
These kind of provisional "Anteprima Special" covers were used in italy for two reasons:
1) for overseas new vinyl issues (usually USA or UK artists), in order to pre-sell the new release contemporary to the foreign date of issue when the final cover still wasn't ready in Italy.
When the final cover was ready it was possible to come-back the generic "Anterima Special" cover to your supplier in order to collect the original envelope
2) They were given to Radio Stations or employees of the music industry for just promotional reasons.
For The Clash vinyl is obviously for the number two reason, since an italian release was never domestically release.
"Hate & War" as "Hate - War" on label
