Classic will still be being discovered by future generations long after more complex overburdened recent tunes are dead and buried.

Edited 7 years agoThis is my favourite Orbital track and for sure my favourite Guerilla release. It's very similar to some other excellent Orbital tracks like "The box", "Omen/Open mind", "Lush 3" or even "Oola" and differs a lot to some other Orbital tracks like the overrated and overplayed "Chime".
"Alchemy" here is one of the better produced tracks by Orbital with a nice mellody, excellent electronic sounds, and optimistic strings after the middle. If you want to own just one Orbital electronic track, this should be the one. -
very much of its time, I'm not sure if anyone would drop this in a set now, it sounds simplistic. Four rather unsurprising remixes, plod their way through as the backing to a melodic riff (which has probably stuck in most dance heads from those days like a bad commercial). For me its the Alchemy (Phasers On Stun) mix which remains timeless if a little tired. Other Drum Club releases had more happening, but its one for the Guerilla collection. Buy 'Live in Iceland' instead.
