My copy seems to be the opposite to below reviews. Maybe 2 light clicks on side one, no warps, pops or sticks or skips.
The actual remaster is not bad either. Compared to the Kevin Gray 30th anniversary rm, it seriously holds up well. It is lacking the balls and bass of the really good pressings, and some of the ambience and sounds are subdued (cash on Money). Vocals and harmonies sound good, even the quiet random discussions in the background.
A nice entry level record to get into either Pink Floyd or the album in general. -
Not as good as a 70's pressing....You can hear the lack of definition in the strong ages of the track Us and Them, all the choruses the vocals and the band are melted in a mass without definition...You barely hear the drums. Check an early 70's pressing with that song specifically and You will feel the difference.

Very poor pressing. Appears to be slightly warped. Lots of pops especially in the first few tracks. Throughout the whole first side the left channel phases in and out. I've listened to this album dozens of times in numerous forms of media - this was a pretty poor representation. Shame I waited too long after purchasing to listen to it... too late for a refund.

Edited 9 years agoAudio quality is good, but the pressing itself is pretty mediocre. Lots of surface noise and a few pops throughout. My brand-new copy arrived slightly warped and had a few scuffs.

Near perfect press quality, a perfect audiophile collector's item. No need to mention the Art (brilliant).
