Edited 4 years agoThe release date must be 1981 as the song appeared on a local NYC record store Hit Town's Record Report list published on Sept. 26th, 1981. (source: Danny Rivera aka Mr. Schick of the legendary old school hip-hop group The Mean Machine) -
Seminal 80's Rap. Bass by producer and the late great Wayne Braithwaite (his name is spelled incorrectly at the bottom of the label)...contains a replayed portion of the track 'Heartbeat' by Taana Gardner (WestEnd-1981)
