Edited 3 years agoAn alright clean version that has some surprises on a few tracks. "Big Pimpin'" in its edited form has some added percussion in the background similar to the radio version of "Doggy Dogg World". On top of that, you have some extra lines from Daz and a short monologue from Delemond at the beginning of Snoop's verse. This is easily one of my favorite and most unique clean versions recorded from Death Row. And then of course you have the songs from O, Paradise and OFTB rerecorded with clean lyrics as well. I'm surprised that neither the CD nor cassette was able to add the rerecorded radio edit of "Pour Out a Little Liquor" as the edit on this version is not at all that good. Speaking of the cassette, all of the bonus tracks on the tape release are also rerecorded with new clean lyrics (save for Treach's verse on "Loyal to the Game") which are a lot more harder to track down than the LP versions which are scattered on random CD and 12" singles from the soundtrack. "Pain" is easily the best out of all of them not just because the song itself is the highlight of the soundtrack, but also because of the different beat mixing (which was actually the original beat from the demo) and the added line in the chorus sampled from EPMD: "Don't get too close because you might get shot".
