Funny to hear an old pressing in stereo. I have only heard mono before (aside from the terrible first CD attempt!).
It's a good listen, but mono still trumps it. -
A raw powerful, evocative, stunning debut with 2 originals & the rest twisted covers of old gospel / traditional country folk-blues standards sung with purpose & full of energy. Plaintive, personal & heartfelt contemporary styled folk music.
A classic & well worth owning.
