Hans Zimmer – Dune: Part Two (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

love the sounds but this is such an obnoxious way to package a double LP. i do not want to look at low-res pictures of the characters faces nor do i want a gatefold that's longer than my arm. plastic sleeves are appreciated though.

is there also a black normal pressing available ? I think with the colourfull planet printing version the quality is not good many pops and clicks

returned my pops and clicks version for a new one. The new one is also bad :-( so sad so beautifull music and so bad pressing. so much pops and clicks ........

This thing is just fucking magnificent. Wow. Bravo, Mutant. Bravo.

The packaging is gorgeous, it looks great. However my copy has so many loud pops and clicks especially on side A, even after an ultrasonic clean. Hoping I can get it replaced.

Does anyone know if the restock of the Mutant exclusive color includes the clear outer jacket? Site says "initial pressing" includes it but not sure if this restock does.

Now THIS RIGHT HERE is how you do a soundtrack. When the package showed up I felt the weight of it and I thought they sent me two by accident.

Nope. Quad Gatefold with an absolutely gorgeous slipcase. The photography inside is absolutely gorgeous.

And the pressing quality?! On my needle there's no discernable noise floor (I'm sure I could pick it up with headphones) and the depth to the mastering is so great. The bass hits very hard. Whoever cut this lacquer knew what they were doing.

Great pressing, some ground noise at the beginning of side B but nothing serious, sound is rich and dynamic. Package is a 4-s gatefold jacket, feels a bit flimsy compared to the DUNE part 1 version from Mondo, tho one has to think this is a quadruple gatefold, the thing is big so handle with care if giving heavy rotation. Design is a wonder to marvel at. Colors are Ok, I don't mind they are not exactly like the mock ups given by Mutant. The music itself is great, tho I it I liked more Part 1, felt more fluent as a OST, ideas were def more fresh, hence why many of the best tunes in here are ideas expanded from the first film, still this is a beast of a soundtrack and I would recommend it to anyone into this type of music and records, or anyone that simply liked the film. Overall an A+ release by Mutant and another masterpiece from Hans Zimmer, get it while it is available, don't pay scalpers! if Mutant is anything like Mondo, there will be reissues sooner than later.
