After the huge success of their first two albums “Demonsworld” and “Catalysed Reactions”, the worldwide acclaimed hardcore-act Endymion will release their third album “THREE” on June 18. The album is a double-cd featuring brand new material and an overview of their recent smashes. The release of the album is also the trigger of the start of a worldwide promotour, which leads Endymion to various continents. After an insane year with major performances in stadiums like the Amsterdam ArenA and the Gelredome, 2011 will be an even bigger year for the hardcore trio.
Endymion is one of the world’s most popular hardcore acts. Since the beginning of their career, they performed at the biggest harder styles events around the world. The act gained popularity due to their releases on Enzyme Records, which is one of the leading labels in hardcore since its foundation. Next to their solo-EP’s and albums, Endymion collaborated with many topproducers in the scene like Nosferatu, Art of Fighters, Ophidian and the man that discovered their common talent: Ruffneck. Endymion’s album “THREE” represents a more international hardcore sound, which has been influenced by a wide variety of music genres.
NEW MATERIAL
“THREE” consists of two different cd’s, which first disc is filled with nothing but brand new Endymion tracks. Endymion has created songs with multi-layered exciting arrangements, which makes the sound of “THREE” more mature than their previous work. Because of their worldwide performances and shows on events with various music genres and performers, Endymion got inspired to develop their trademarked sound. Besides many new solo tracks, Endymion has ed hands and minds with several artists like Nosferatu, Evil Activities and The Viper for “THREE”. Previous collabs with these artists have never failed on the crowd: a lot of their ventures turned out to be instant classics. Also, Endymion invited Dutch-hiphop icons E-Life and Ollie for hyping rap vocal contributions and London-based singer Warren Morris gives a showcase of his raw unpolished talents on “THREE”, which also contains a new co-op with Lilly Julian.
REMIXES AND RECENT HITS
Next to new solo work and various collaborations, some of Endymion’s appreciated colleagues have made some unique remixes of Endymion greatest hits. Evil Activities is responsible for a reinterpretation of one of the biggest hardcore hits of the previous decade: “Drunk With A Gun”, which was produced by Nosferatu & Endymion back in 2003. The Italian DJ/ producer Placid K has done a remix of “Art” and Enzyme Records-colleague Ophidian picked “Anger” for his contribution to “THREE”. The album’s second disc features the best and biggest Endymion smashes in recent history. This compilation brings you tracks like “A New Today”, but also their huge success “Abduction” and Tommyknocker’s Yes I Am remix of “Payback”. Also other spectacular dancefloor bombs like their remix-collab with Evil Activities for Brennan Heart’s Qlimax 2010 anthem “Alternate Reality” is included. And of course it also features their remix of Headhunterz’ “Scrap Attack”, which was award the prestigious Beatport Award in 2010.
