I ended up getting this version since the white marble one I own is really noisy. This version is miles better, no surface noise at all besides for a few seconds at the end of Money Don't Matter 2 Night. Definitely glad I picked this up. Diamonds and Pearls is one of my favorite Prince albums so I'm happy to hear the remastering as it was meant to be heard.

I got the clear version and it may be the best sounding vinyl of my collection. Absolutely stunning. It’s definitely worth buying it.

Edited one year agoNice sound, but wouldn't recommend clear vinyl, because of the strong roar between tracks, especially on sides two and three. At least that's the case with my copy. No crackles, but roar. I'd suggest better to buy black vinyl. Alwas better choice despite the looks.
-
Constant surface noise during the whole playback, but doesn't distract much from the music which is presented gloriously.

I think this is only the case for the releases sold in the US.
European versions do not have that"Made in " sticker.
(I have both versions) -
It's definitely better sound quality than the original European press I had, and that's all I was looking for.

Have to agree with the chorus - well presented, vinyl flat and quiet. Soundstage also the standout for me. Recommended.
