Absolutely slamming record that I'm quite fond of, I heard some DJ playing a remix of it at a block party but the original is so much more explosive with the entire rap and the sirens. I didn't even realize I already had access to it on Jack To The Sound but it's nice to own this anyway. This one is sure to get any crowd moving. All the mixes seem pretty useful.

Edited 4 years agoI have yet to find the full length 5:02 "Original Radio" mix on CD where it hasn't been sourced from a vinyl rip.
The French and U.K. CD singles have an edit that clocks in at 4:37, and it's missing my favorite part of the song: the "What do you wanna DO, boyyyyyy??" break. >:( -
Another great track from Fast Eddie. This is basically Acid Thunder without the acid loops. Hip-House was a great short lived genre but it was very high quality with Fast Eddie, Tyree, Kool Rock Steady, Mr. Lee, etc. Turn Up The Bass by Tyree is another classic.

You may think Fast Eddie sounds "Uber Cheesy" and it might if it was released today, but this was released in '88. This is classic "Hip House" - what happened to Hip House, anyway? I guess bangin' and bouncy Chicago house took over that scene. Fast Eddie, Tyree Cooper, and Mr. Lee were some of the forerunners of that scene. If you like Hip House, you'll like these tracks.
