Maxximum Electronica album. Future Classic. This Is What We Do. Version Excursion is excellence of dub & electro

I think it's an improvement on the original album and a return to form. My copy is loud, clear, bass heavy and has no audible pops or clicks. The colour is quite beautiful and compliments the artwork. Very pleased with this release.

It’s Ok. Not as quiet as suggested here and a long shot at comparing to the 90s. I prefer the album release but these records are good. Picked up as part of a trade in at my local. Would have not plashed the cash so worked out well.

Edited one year agoTo be quite honest, I wasn't too blown away with the original version of This Is What We Do, but this remix album, on the other hand, is, surprisingly, one of my absolute favorite releases from Leftfield - a smooth, deep and blissed-out trip which I enjoy from start to finish.

Edited one year agoI honestly think this is their best work since the debut, full of spacy atmosphere and dubby deliciousness. As others have said, it sures the original album which in itself was a partial return to form. I wouldn’t sayit’s groundbreaking or anything, only a delight to sink your ears into. Oh and the pressing is top notch.

Version Excursion. I'm going out on a limb and say that it IS better than the great original? Which was already great. More reminiscent of Leftism era releases.

I absolutely love the original album but this somehow sures it in just about every way. Thunderous dub and crisp ambient highs—a wide sonic palette awash in soul-nourishing layers of aural color. Added highlight how the tracks segue into one another, it’s a proper listen-beginning to end. Hopefully it gets a wider release so that can be enjoyed by more heads.

Not only is the pressing and sound quality astounding, it's a much more "Leftfield" sounding album than "This Is What We Do". As soon as I heard this was being released I knew I had to get a copy, especially as I had picked up the "Accumulator" white label and was blown away by the "Ambient / Dub Version". Highly recommended.

Doesn't get much better than this...pressing is dead silent no pops or surface noise huge depth to the mastering, colourway, artwork, reimagined perfection...so so good... get it while and if you can!!!
