Haven’t heard any other pressing of Meteora besides this one, but to my ears this sounds great. The live look contains some great performances and is a highlight of the set. Everything is punchy, clear and dynamic. This sounded great on my lp60x when I picked it up and sounds even better on my rt82.

I love the box set. Great presentation and I love having all the extras in vinyl format. However, the audio quality of the actual meteora album leaves a lot to be desired. The most recent RSD release sounds heaps better. It is what it is.

Edited 9 months agoFor me, the box is a scam, sorry. The bonus/ demo and live songs are neat, but besides 2 or 3 unreleased songs, there's nothing what would make me play the vinyl. As already mentioned here plenty of times, Lost is not on the tracklist - which is super shady imo, because the song was released in the time this box got released, so one could easily think, that track would be in the box too.
The most annoying/ scammy thing for me is: the album itself comes here on 1 vinyl. 1 Vinyl in a "20th anniversary Deluxe Box"...
If that wasn't bad enough, the album got reissued a few weeks later on 2 vinyls. That is a no-go for me and the reason why my collection won't get any more Linkin Park releases. If Lost was a part of the bonus content and the album would be on 2 vinyls in this box, it would be 5* -
Hadn't listened to my CD version in a solid 15 years or so and blasting this reminded me how good this album actually is. All vinyl versions in this set sound great too if anyone is hesitant, I don't own previous pressings but this sounds good enough to me that I don't need to go hunting others to compare!

This freaking rocks bro classic jams from my youth, good cut, if you have a real turntable and not a cheap red ceramic cart (Crosley or similar). I play this on a fine line Ortofon 2m Bronze with a Pioneer PLX-1000. I did notice that some of them were slightly dished but still play good.
