Scored a copy last Sunday at a local records fair, and the vinyl looks pristine clear. Let's see if it will turn nicotine too.
Talking about the music, it's great early stuff from Portion Control, darker and much noisier than their later outputs. "Electrotechnik" and "Le Crunch" show the unquestionable influence this British cult act had on the likes of Skinny Puppy and Front Line Assembly.

Yep mine too, i bought it in 1986 and that record really was a profound listening btw. The vinyl has alwas been clear but about 10 years ago i noticed it was 'nicotine colour'. Luckily it has not affected the sound quality.

I bought my copy second hand in the early 90's and I recall the vinyl was clear too. The edge is becoming particularly tainted as if it had been spinning in nicotine. The vinyl itself must have a reaction to either light or the plastic sleeve it is housed in though the latter is probably unlikely. It might just be that the quality of the vinyl used for the pressing was not best. However the sound quality does not appear to be affected on mine either.

Added an image of my 'clear' vinyl copy that looks like previously owned by a chain smoker. Do all copies look similar to this or do genuine clear copies exist out there ?
