Mine's not warped or too noisy but feels very quiet and a bit distant overall. Purchased my copy in summer of '22. YMMV, I guess.

Don't know if this is a new run of these, but just received a brand new copy with matching matrices... ABSOLUTELY SPOTLESS. Few words of note...
I had to tear it out of its paper inner sleeve rather than scuff it, then replaced with mofi inner.
Needed a good wet clean and destat.
After that? Incredible. Flat, centred, a great master job, no surface noise except one or three faint clicks in between two songs.
Take a punt! You may win! -
Edited 4 years agoI've just received the thing. It looks fine.
Slightly warped but totally playable.
I have to say I've never seen a vinyl that light in my life, hence the occasional warping.
I have yet to give it a spin or two, but according to the first tunes I've heard so far, it sounds fine and quiet.
On the downside, I think the drums vanish a bit in the mix, but I'll have to make sure.

Ordered two copies. Both arrived really badly warped. Very disappointing as I usually rate Sundazed? Won’t risk it again and sent both back.

Mine doesn't seem noisy but, wow, the warping is bad. It doesn't seem to affect playback but it's disappointing for sure.

I had problems with two sealed copies, both undulating and very noisy. I kept one but I had to spend money to smooth it and now I'll try to wash it. I hope I can improve on listening, but I am very disappointed with this reprint.

Picked this up used several years ago, no warpage, and whatever noise there was from paper sleeve debris I was able to quiet down with a wet-cleaning. Highly recommend a good copy of this one if you can find it, it sounds quite good.

Edited 7 years agoCareful with these reissues. Quality control is apparently out the window with a lot of these newer labels. Cutting corners is increasingly the norm. Went through two copies, both were warped. The transfer is noisy. First copy I picked up was a mess, immediately returned it. The right channel was blown out, played REALLY low. The record had lots of static and pops. Second copy not as bad and both channels good but by no means clean. This is a noisy pressing, most noticeable in quiet sections and between songs. Not a big deal on 40+ year old lp's but unacceptable on a factory sealed release. Both records played okay despite the heavy warping. Comes in a nice gate-fold package.
Shame, it's a massive album.
