Edited 2 years agogot my copy so here's some info:
-the packaging is absolutely beautiful. tip-on trifold jacket with another sleeve containing the eight score sheet replicas. however, the pockets are tight so it's best not to keep the records in the jacket.
-the cloudy clear vinyl pressing sounds good, but has some light surface noise throughout. but of course, this is music that REALLY exposes the surface noise. just know that most of the circa-$75 USD retail price goes towards the packaging and the fact that it's a sakamoto record.
-the promo booklet that came with a lot of copies is quite nice. it comes with the CD too.
-the records don't come in the round-bottom poly sleeves, they come in blank white paper inners. no big deal but was surprising for a japanese record.
overall a good package, and while i wouldn't pay the prices that it's going for here, there are worse ways to spend $250 on a record if you're the type to do that in the first place.
listening setup: rega p6, ortofon mc cadenza bronze cartridge, stein music 'the perfect interface' carbon mat, liberty b2b-1 preamp, hegel h95 integrated amp, elac debut b5 speakers.
