My copy (just arrived / no white outline on label) skips 3 times on Synth-It (Original Mix) - once near the start intro and twice in quick succession 3/4 of the way through - you can see the 3 small hairlines that cause the skips when held up to light - very annoying for a brand new record - obviously there's a pressing flaw with many of these so it would seem pot luck from reading reviews.

Edited one year agoI read that more people have the same problem as me. Bought this record but both sides have taps. Shouldn't for this expensive record.
-
Some copies seem to have a white outline on the labels? Mine doesn't.
I have two permanent skips on A side, one on each track. Sound quality otherwise is ok. -
Edited 2 years agoGave it a good clean. All tracks play fine. 'Realm Dub' would have been nice but beggars can't be choosers ay...

Following from my previous rant. Whether other people are more fortunate with their copies from a quality perspective, I'm glad some people have had better luck. I think side B sounds pretty clean, full and crisp. My main complaint, and it's a very reasonable complaint in my opinion is the fact that they went and left out The Realm Dub. I'm not a fan of labels of releasing supposed reissues and ending up including token inferior remixes or heavily edited originals in place of the original tunes. Being a massive fan of the original release kind of hurts that they couldn't have kept everything as it was.

same luck, bought mine from deejay.de too. all tracks good and quite happy (owning the original) that this repress is missing a vital track. Ha
-
Well, I have to say that luckily my copy sounds perfectly, bought at deejay.de... for what it's worth...
