Just need black pressings of these and skip all the colored variants. Not only do the colored variants have problems (not always but often) but why not just release the record and press the millions that are bound to sell in good old black? Just seems like a cash grab to me. Oh, and I read today that TS just became a billionaire. Need I say more.....? Frankenvinyl you wouldn't have to be bothered with returning and all the bullshit that goes along with it if there were just uniform pressings of similar quality. When the demand for records goes up, the QC goes down.

Pressing is fine, everything sounds good. It's just that it is probably the quietest one that I own among the four.

I'm not sure if it was the pressing that I got or how I store my records (vertically, not stacked) but after about six months the record starting skipping on Midnight Rain. The new pressing seems okay and hasn't skipped. I'll definitely be using vinyl cleaner in future just in case it was my issue though.

I'm not sure what went wrong on this pressing, or some parts of it. Seems like there are other having similar problems as I have. The first thing I noticed was that my brush seemed to "stick" more to the grooves. Then I got quite upset when I heard all this uneven swooshing noise between the tracks, which here is unusually noticeable compared to almost any other of my newer records. On some songs, especially "You're on your own, kid" you can even hear it through the music. I planned to demand a refund, because these kind of issues on a new record is totally unacceptable, especially now when vinyl prices have turned insane. But then I tried to give it some spins in my washer, and I believe it actually helped a tiny bit regarding the noise issues. I can still hear the same kind of noise, but it feels less annoying. So I'm keeping the record, even though I'm not quite happy about the vinyl quality. But the music itself is just so incredibly enjoyable, and also the deep sounding bass and clarity is just amazingly good.

This variant is insanely beautiful. My copy is from when I preordered it the first week it was available, and I got so much marbling. Definitely my favorite variant aesthetically. However, it probably sounds the worst of out of all of the Midnights variants (including the lavender). It has noticeable surface noise and needle sway on side A. It also sounds less bright than the other variants, for some reason. The color and cover photo of the record saves this release for me, though.

Excellent album. Mine is made in . Came very "poppy" and dirty. Took 3 x 5 min cycles in the KLaudio and now is awesome. Wonderful vocal and instrument separation and extremely good bass. Pity it was so dirty out of the cover but a good clean will reap the rewards of what is an excellent pressing.
