I don't actually have this but I made a copy of it to tape (TDK SA-X90) off a guy I knew from down the pub in the mid eighties just after I left school and was beginning to appreciate different styles of music. I know I have this exact copy because for some reason I wrote the catalogue number on the J-Card and it specifically says Polydor 2310 196 SUPER. I can also tell you that I recorded it on 8th May 1986 at 18:30hrs which happens to be five months after I recorded Faust IV on the same tape previously borrowed from that same guy.
That pub has gone now and the guy I got to know again twenty years later when I started frequenting the pub he subsequently went to. I told him that I still have the tape and he welled up a bit. I'm listening to it as I write this and it still sounds stunning after all these years. Long live the great cassette come-back. -
i have a version with the write on front cover FAUST SO FAR smaller and with different typeface.
does anyone know anything about it? -

Nicht sehr kosmische indeed...... More approachable than other Faust offerings a must have for the true experience of avant grade
