Edited 5 years agoAs I hear the original "Are We Here?" it is divided into three section: Intro, Mid (ca 3-8 min), and End (ca 8 min to end).
The mid section is heralded by the vocal sample "Warning, warning, nuclear attack" and it features a great stabby rave like bass line.
The mixes of "Are We Here?" are all good, but what I find lacking with them is that none of them are using the mid section, the mixes all appear to be based on the end section.
"They Did It "remix by Gareth Jones & Neil McLelland is very impressive, it is like a blueprint for the progressive breaks scene that would become so popular 3-4 years later, with for example Hybrid.
The perfect remix of this EP in my opinion would be: "Do They Here?" / "They Did It?" / "RITM Oral Mix"
