Sonically, this Blue-vinyl DMM is fantastic. Some might say that the USA non DMM version has better vocal audio playback. Everything is personal and subjective, of course. However this version is far better IMHO as the bass/mids/lows are not a blurry/fuzzy/boomy as North American pressings are very well known for using too much low and mid with EQ settings. Don't hesitate for a moment to buy the original 1987 Blue-vinyl-DMM pressing!!

Price tag on this baffles me every time I revisit- one of the must-have albums in their catalog and an audiophile and really cool version, and still sells for a song.
Sonically as well as optically the record caters to the highest standards,I just love to watch it spin while listening.Colored vinyl wasn't that often seen when this was released,so maybe I'm just reminiscing.
Sonics on the other hand have been always outstanding with this rather heavy-duty vinyl, and leave nothing to be desired in my opinion. It has some serious punch and attack, while sound field is open, detailed and transparent.
This has been Direct Metal Mastered by Sonopress,so the good dynamics and state of the art signal to noise ratio come as no surprise.
I'm actually considering getting myself a second copy in near mint to archive for rainy days;I'm positive this will outperform most other DM releases in the long run. -
Great sounding album, quality is fine. For me one of the must have albums together with Violater, Songs of Faith and Devotion and Violater.
