A bit more volume in this german pressing compared to the USA issue (ENO 5). Generally a positive feature in a pressing but even more important on an album of this nature where light surface crackle, even on a NM record, easily disturbes the ambience. -
No doubt this is one of the very best ambient albums ever made. The whole album is just pure dream away material, but of course the absolute star of this record is "An Ending (Ascent)". Music to make you cry, but in the best possible way... :)
