Very cool jazz album which was a random buy and a real hit in the center of my heart. Great style and smooth sound. One of my favorite jazz albums.

Based on other comments I guess I got lucky, my copy is flawless, with none of the scuffing, scratches or non-fill issues that others have mentioned. The vinyl is flat, it's extremely quiet, and it sounds absolutely wonderful, with Smith's organ right there in the room with you. Turrentine complements him perfectly, with a warm and robust tone. Fantastic pressing of one of Jimmy Smith's very best albums, and an essential soul jazz record.
-
Insanely groovy album, with a transparency & clarity to the mastering that betters the 75th & a forward, driving presentation that really works. Jimmy's organ playing is liquid smooth & 'right there' dead-center, with the horns, drums & bass really cooking to the left & right. Vinyl is dead-silent & flat as a pancake. These BN 80's are a smashing value...

Very good sound, but unfortunately I have distortion artifacts at first song. After washing still the same issue. No scratches mentioned, LP is clean.

This one's a winner. Great music, great mastering. The price point is fantastic, even better when the store puts it in the clearance section :)

Similar to others in the Classic Vinyl Series, this is an absolutely incredible reissue for the price. Lower-cost sleeve in tight shrink, but perfectly flat black wax inside. Low, low noise floor – nearly dead silent. Kevin Gray did a fantastic job with the master. I compared this to an original mono pressing I own, and this version holds it own.

Was fortunate to get a good copy and this is a fun listen. Stanley Turrentine shines on this one. Every instrument sounds crisp and clear- a great mastering job.
-
Exceptional pressing. I closed my eyes I imagined Jimmy was playing in my room for real. Definitely a must.

So this is soul jazz, right ? And this guy is called Jimmy Smith ? Wow, just wow. Good pairing with Turrentine. Burrell plays on only two tracks. The title track is so groovy ! Well, my copy is flawless. Top notch audiophile quality. Don't miss this music.
