Edited 6 months agoI have a very rare version of this boxset. Lp #2 has been added twice in the package. I have 6 lp's inside. :D One of my favourite live albums, I love listening to it. Now that I see that there is no reissue, I count myself lucky to have bought it when it was released years ago.

Edited one year agoFinally, parted with the cash for a copy. Vinyl to look at has a few hairlines, yet plays brilliantly.
This has to be one of the best live albums ever! A few stand outs for me include the old PF classics: shine on and echoes especially.
Superb, box set. Stunning sound. -
Probably the #1 gem in my vast vinyl collection. Paid about $350 five years ago in used condition from Acousticsounds.com. I don't regret it one bit. Surely many of us audiophiles have albums that are sealed or just don't play much cause they're really not that great of an album. Not the case with this one as it begs to be spun. Everything's done very well from the lavish box to the poster and of course the heavy BLACK vinyl. Sound quality ranks among the best live albums ever. Plus this one has Richard Wright whereas Pompeii does not.

this live album is so munch better than the last one...no comparison ! (rattle that lock tour with tired voice and lazy guitar work)

I’ve bought this box in 2009 for 40 Eur in a local record shop. For me 2005-2016 was a golden era for who collects vinyl. Maybe the best period of all time. No one or almost none wanted vinyls at those times with few copies at low cost….Now is everything overpriced with too many copies issued with poorer quality sound.

So after a few years of hesitation and missing opportunities to buy this at a decent price, I’m finally the happy owner of this magnificent box set. It lives up to its reputation. Sound is stellar, David is at his best and the setlist is just perfect. It is expensive but I’d say if you love Pink Floyd and/or Gilmour, you should really consider this as it is not only a great addition to your collection. It is really awesome!

Rich, clear, quiet pressing. Excellent reproduction - no regrets paying over the odds for this, even if there's a repress, it sounds absolutely awesome. I doubt a repress will sound as good.
