Sounds good. Similar to the CD, but with a slight boost to the highs. Still a little too mid-range for my tastes, but not bad overall. It's really going to depend on your setup. Luckily I'm about to tweak my EQ to make it really pop. Would've preferred 2-lps for the album alone instead of having the demos, but again, not bad overall

A punchy, well-defined mix throughout the sonic spectrum, and dead quiet to boot. Jeff Walker's snarls jump out of the speakers like never before. The best this record has ever sounded, to my ears.

Sounds awesome! I could care less about the demos of the tunes that are on the second lp but since it was the same price as the single lp just album version i figured why not?

This album fucking rocks start to finish. A landmark album in metal history, one of the origins of my favourite genre of music Melodic Death Metal, and an enduring classic that still holds up to this day. This remaster is excellent, I'm very happy with the sound of this version, though I do think I'd have preferred it split across two LPs rather than loaded on one disc with a bonus Demo disc. Saw there were complaints on other pressings of the FDR version of being too quiet, but happy to report that no such issues exist here. Nothing but great fucking metal, start to goddamn finish. Definitely pick this up if you're into any type of metal.

Why not 3side double lp only the album? what has to do the demo sound with lp quality?
Squashed over 20 min of carcass on 1 side has nothing to do with quality listening.
Again this is only for hanging the lp on wall and NOT listening on turntable.
