Love this. Sounds amazing and the inner sleeve photos are a nice addition. Must have for any fans and even non-fans of the screamers. Perfect way to get into them

This recording does not have my permission and while it has my name on it, my tracks were erased a week or two after they were made. One Thursday evening in 1977 i was defenestrated from this questionable (at best) ensemble; while i chalked it up as a complete fucking waste of time hanging with pedophiles and wanna-be genius types, and went home to sleep, my associate Black Randy took great umbrage at this and decided to react. Chuck R drove him over to the Wilton Hilton about 3 in the morning, and BR strapped a Pignose with a microphone and stood in the front yard and addressed Gear and Tomato in extremely derogatory rhyme. This evidently went on for some time until Tomato finally appeared in his thirsty terry bathrobe to intervene--how do you speak sotto voce to someone who is screaming so's to hopefully get them to stop but not to additionally peeve the neighbors with additional even louder screaming, this is a tuffy
Anyhoo, the net result was that Tommy was so perturbed at having some fairly intimate, gnarly stuff about him shouted in rhyme thru an amplifier in the wee hours that he had Miss Pat Garrett (more info about that on the DH entry) remove any sign of my playing even tho br had acted totally on his own accord. His sniffy little act of fascism, and of course Miss Pat's truculent, obeisant Vichy response (he didn't want to get a BAD NAME in PUNK) means this record sounds like a pathetic old guy hurting his throat to the tune of a non-zappa industrial vacuum cleaner accompanied by a $15 rhythm machine oom-tity-tity etc. Look like no one wants to buy it on the positive side! Can't get royalties from a rock! -
The sound on this is absolutely revelatory, they don't even sound like the same n-th generation takes sometimes
