It's easy to see why 'Highland Spring' is a classic in the dubstep oeuvre. That driving relentless bassline, paired with mournful, mystic vocals and strings seems to link with many of the deeper dubstep artists such as Mala, who were more focused on creating heads-down screwface music. Very glad, I swiped this at a good price from Chemical back in the day :)

Edited 4 years agoI just can't get enough of this sound which falls between the dark UK Garage dubs of the late 90s and early 2000s, breakbeat and early Dubstep.
Tribal rhythms, two step beats and phat rolling basslines - all of the above and more are served up on this amazing EP from the pioneer DJ from that period, the one and only Hatcha and the unmatchable production genius of Benny Ill. -
Poison is absolutely off the chain. Superb groove with that subtle melody and vocal creeping in. Gold.

Wo Wo hold on im not drunk or high £204 realy tanmushimushi you can get banging 92 breakbeat hardcore whites for a fracktion of what your chargeing for this ep. I have been in your shop years back & got a 12" at a normal price. How can you screw fellow Discogers over like this. I would be ashamed of my silf. But shame or gilt is a amoshon your clearly void of. Mad & sad.
