This CD marks an era. The era of what everyone called house. The music which has now differentiated in hundreds of subgenres (techno, trance, etc).
You will see that it were high times for Maurice Engelen, Oliver Adams and singer Niki van Lierop, the Praga Khan trio who had tens of guises (MNO, Channel X, etc). In a way they are pioneers.
But just take a look: James Brown is Dead, Chimo Bayo, Get Ready For this, Cyclotron (gimme a white line!). These tracks have set discotheques on fire every weekend. And I'm glad I was part of that era.
The variation, originality and daringness of those producers is astonishing. Today, no one dares to be different anymore or to raise the bar (ok there are always exceptions).
This is a true collectors item.
If you own this CD, keep it somewhere safe.
