I really wish this album was released as a 2 LP, to begin with, we got it when Ariana dropped the deluxe version but you can hear the compression on the standard records. I love the glow in the dark but the sound quality is ok...I can hear some surface noise on most songs but it's not noticeable enough for me to hate it. If you are looking for a Positions record I would suggest getting the deluxe version. It's available on RecordStoreCo.Uk if you can't find it anywhere else :)

Edited 4 years agoJudging by other comments both here and elsewhere the pressing quality is a bit hit and miss. I'm one of the lucky ones. Very little surface noise between tracks and pretty much silent on the way in and out.
I'm not a big fan of this genre of music I'll it I only bought if for the glow in the dark novelty. However I'm left pleasently surprised, it's been mastered incredibly well. Yes the backing is a bit generic for my liking but the bass is nicely rounded and the high ends crisp. But it's the crystal clear vocals that really shine through probably among the best I've heard recently.
If I had picked up an iffy pressing I would definitely be looking for a better one!
Oh and the glow is pretty good too. The only thing that lets it down like so many is the cheap nasty paper sleeve.

The sound quality of this is atrocious. Crackles throughout side 1 & 2. i suggest not bothering to open it to listen to. just keep as a collection piece.

Haven't tried the 'glow' yet but I've listened to the pressing and it sounds great! This is my first glow in the dark vinyl and it sounds as good as 'normal' ones. Wish it was gatefold, like her other pressings tho. Overall it's amazing!
