At the time, Melanie Bock was the most diverse female metal singer ever. At the time in 1991 no other female metal singer was switching on a drop of a dime between a harsh based (death) growl and clean singing. Yes Sabina was doing a harsh vocal but did not do any clean singing. Melanie on the drop of a dime switches from harsh to soft seemlessly, truly ahead of her time. I havnt even mentioned the band and guitarist are complete tech Prog wizards time shifting everywhere with Melanie’s bizarro cool vocals ! If you’re really into Prog Metal, this is it , this is a Prog thrash gem.

It took me 46 years to give this album A spin as I tend to run from anything that says Progressive metal and the term Progressive always tends to get mixed up with something being overly long for its own good last 20 years of Iron Maiden to give an example So I acquired a cassette copy of the album in review Even though progressive was a tag associated and was pleasantly surprised and will make a great addition to my German thrash metal collection while the singer is no Sabine Classen from Holy Moses but she is great in her own right 4.2/5
